this technique made details like the sweater and the face stand out more. the technique involves outlining a part of the drawing with a colour that’s darker than the colour of that section, then colour it in with the original colour. I wanted to try a technique used by the talented artist.

Have you played any of the Rhythm Heaven/Paradise games? I have been on the hunt for Rhythm Paradise Megamix for a while and with the 3DS shop closing I was half expecting to not find a copy but was lucky enough to see one pop up online recently for a great price. In what was a similar trend to WarioWare, Rhythm Paradise Megamix is a “Best Of” collection of the series, plucking mini-games from the previous 3 titles in the series. Unlike WarioWare however, the main gimmick as the name suggests is all the mini games are rhythm based and required impeccable timing to succeed. Known as Rhythm Heaven in the US, the Rhythm Paradise series one of those wacky titles similar to WarioWare that put you in the most bizarre mini game situations. Another 3DS grail I didn’t think I would own acquired!
